Children’s Programs

  • After School Program: New Hope has a fully accredited, award winning after school program for children ages 5-12.
  • Tutoring & Homework Assistance: Students are provided homework assistance during after-school care. Students requiring further support are given individual tutoring.
  • Computer Learning Center: Students attending the after-school program at New Hope Charities rotate through our computer learning center regularly.
  • Arts & Crafts: This program actively encourages students to employ their fine motor skills and to express themselves artistically. Activities provide students opportunities to work individually and in small groups in order to encourage social and team building skills.

  • Recreation: New Hope provides daily in-door and out-door recreational activities including soccer, volleyball, flag football, kickball, ping-pong, pool and basketball. The First Tee of the Palm Beaches provides golfing lessons for the children.
  • Literacy Program: The Bookmobile visits the family center every two weeks and each child in the program is encouraged to have a library card. Age appropriate books are made available in all classroom and are provided by the Palm Beach County Library System.
  • Reading Master Program: The goal of this program is to increase the number of books read by our students. As an incentive to read, tokens are awarded based on the number of pages read.
  • Science and Technology: New Hope was awarded the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum . Through the use of STEAM, the program offers activities designed to reinforce core academic skills in a variety of fun and exciting ways.
  • Summer Camp: New Hope Charities offers a full time summer camp five days a week for local area youth. Activities include weekly fieldtrips, recreational activities, arts & crafts and more.
